Island Girl Drink Recipe
Ingredients
The ingredients list for this Island Girl Cocktail is pretty easy to acquire, and you don’t have to have the optional garnish parts even though they up the overall appearance of the drink. The full ingredient list is as follows:
- Coconut Rum (We prefer Blue Chair bay)
- Orange Juice
- Pineapple Juice
- Lemon-Lime Soda
- Manichino Cherries
- Orange Slices (Optional garnish)
Equipment
To make this great tasting island cocktail, you’ll need two Collins glasses and a cocktail shaker. We prefer to use a metal shaker as they seem to get the mixture colder, but any shaker type will do.
Recipe Steps
The steps for this drink are straight forward. Just add the ice, rum, orange, and pineapple juice to the shaker cup. Shake until blended. Take your ice-filled collins glasses and add a couple of ounces of lemon-lime juice to them and top each off with the rum mixture.

Ingredients
- 3 oz Coconut Rum We recommend Blue Chair Bay
- 2 oz Orange Juice
- 2 oz Pineapple Juice
- 4 oz Lemon-Lime Soda
- 2 Luxardo Cherry
- 2 Orange Slices Garnish
- 3 cups ice
Instructions
- Add 1 cup of ice to a cocktail shaker.
- Add Coconut Rum, Orange Juice, and Pineapple Juice to the shaker.
- Shake until well mixed and cold.
- Fill 2 collins glass with ice.
- Add 2 oz of Lemon-Lime soda to each glass.
- Strain the rum mixture between the glasses.
- Carefully add the Luxardo Cherry to each glass.
- Garnish with an orange slice.
