How to Make a Strawberry Lemon Mojito?

Strawberry Lemon Mojito

Learning how to make this mojito is pretty straightforward. The most significant difference in this mojito recipe is that you crush the mint in the simple syrup instead of the traditional muddle.  Crushing the mint releases more of the mint flavor. Since you strain the drink, you do not get the crushed pieces of mint in your glass.

  • Fresh Mint
  • Simple Syrup
  • Lemons
  • Aged Rum (White Rum will also work)
  • Fresh Strawberries
  • Ice

The only equipment needed for this Strawberry Lemon Mojito Recipe is a couple of tallboy glasses, a good quality cocktail shaker, and a Muddling Stick. We prefer a metal muddle stick as it is easier to clean, but a traditional wooden one will also work.

Recipe Steps

Place your mint leaves in the cocktail shaker and add in the simple syrup. Crush the mint with the muddling stick. Once the mint is crushed, add the strawberries and grind them to a pulp using your muddle stick.

Next, add in the lemon juice, rum, and ice.

Give the shaker about 20-25 good shakes unit well mixed and cold. This is where a metal cocktail shaker comes in handy. When the outside of the shaker condenses, you know that the drink is ready to pour. Remember to shake with a smile!
