Orange Martini Recipe

Equipment

You will only need two pieces of equipment for this cocktail: A nice martini glass and a good quality shaker cup. There are many types of shakers available, and we explain them in detail in our shaker types post.

Ingredients

  • Gin or Vodka
  • Triple Sec
  • Dry Vermouth
  • Orange Bitters
  • Orange Peel Twist

Recipe Steps

Making this cocktail is really straight forward and quick.

First, place the ice into a cocktail shaker. Adding the ice first will allow the ingredients to cool as they travel to the bottom of the cup.

Follow the ice with the gin, triple sec, dry vermouth, and bitters to the shaker.
Shake about 10-20 times until well mixed and cold. Then strain the cocktail into a chilled Martini glass.
