Forbidden Sour Recipe
Equipment
There is no equipment needed for this cocktail unless you wish to get super fancy. In the main picture, you will notice that the ice cube is a crystal clear ice sphere. Ingredients
- Bourbon
- Pama Pomegranate Liqueur
- Lemon Juice
- Simple Syrup
Recipe Steps
The recipe steps for this Forbidden Sour cocktail are pretty straightforward.
As with most drinks, add the ice into a shaker cup. Follow the ice by adding in the bourbon, pomegranate liqueur, lemon juice, and simple syrup.
Shake the mixture until well mixed and cold. This takes about 20-25 shakes.
Strain the mixture into a low ball or whiskey glass filled with fresh ice (Or use a single large ice cube) and garnish with an orange wheel

Ingredients
- 1 oz bourbon
- 1 oz Pama pomegranate liqueur
- 1 oz fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 oz simple syrup
- 1 cup ice
- 1 orange wheel Garnish
- 1 Luxardo Cherry Garnish
Instructions
- Add the ice to a cocktail shaker.
- Add the bourbon, pomegranate liqueur, lemon juice, and simple syrup to the shaker.
- Shake until well mixed and cold.
- Strain into a low ball glass over fresh ice.
- Garnish with an orange wheel and a Luxardo cherry.
