Birthday Cake Martini Recipe

Birthday Cake Martini

Ingredients

The ingredients list for this Birthday Cake Martini is pretty simple! Other than the alcohol, you’ll need heavy whipping cream and garnishes (sprinkles and Karo light syrup – to make the sprinkles stick).

Although if you wanted, you could use vanilla icing on the rim and instead of the syrup! The full ingredient list is as follows:

  • Pinnacle Cake Vodka
  • Creme De Cacao
  • Amaretto
  • Godiva White Chocolate Liqueur
  • Heavy Whipping Cream
  • Nonpareils Sprinkles (Garnish)
  • Karo Light Syrup (Garnish)

Equipment

To make this great-tasting martini, you’ll need 2 plates (for garnishing the rim of the glass), a Martini glass, and a cocktail shaker. We prefer to use a metal shaker as they seem to get the mixture colder, but any shaker type will do.

Recipe Steps

On a small plate, pour Karo Light syrup in a circle slightly larger than the rim of the martini glass. On a second small plate, spread the sprinkles evenly.

Dip the rim of the martini glass into the Karo Light syrup and then into the plate of sprinkles until coated evenly. Roll the glass in the remaining sprinkles to increase the coating.

I prefer to place the coated martini glass into the fridge or freezer while the drink is prepared. This can also be done ahead of time to make prep time faster.

To make the cocktail, fill a cocktail shaker half full of ice. Pour all remaining ingredients into the cocktail shaker and shake for roughly 30 seconds or until the contents are well mixed and cold.

Pour the contents into the center of the martini glass and fill until the contents are just touching the sprinkles on the rim of the glass. (This sill start some of the sprinkles streaking down the inside of the glass). Then, pour the remaining sprinkles into the martini glass using a spoon towards the outer edge so the sprinkles will streak down the inside of the glass, making a rainbow effect.
