Making this rum runner recipe is pretty easy, and once you make a few, you will easily be mixing them like a pro.
The ingredient list may seem a little long, but the recipe pretty much calls for the same amount of each ingredient, so it will be easy to remember how to make. The rumrunner base uses two types of rum and combines multiple fruity flavors to give it a great tasting mixed cocktail.
Variations of this rum runner recipe calls for switching the dark rum with spiced and light rum with coconut. This is entirely up to you.
Ingredients
- 1 oz banana liqueur
- 1 oz white rum
- 1 oz dark rum
- 1 oz lime juice
- 1 oz orange juice
- 1/2 oz raspberry liqueur
- 1/2 oz grenadine
- 1 slice pineapple (Garnish)
- 1 slice banana (Garnish)
- 1 slice lime (Garnish)
- ice
Recipe Steps
As with all cocktails using a shaker cup, add your ice in first. Follow this up by adding all the ingredients to the cup except for the ones used for garnish.
Shake until well mixed and cold. If your cocktail shaker is made of metal, you will see the outside start to condense will perfectly chilled. Strain the mixture into an ice-filled collins glass.

















Rum Runner Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 oz banana liqueur
- 1 oz white rum
- 1 oz dark rum
- 1 oz lime juice
- 1 oz orange juice
- 1 oz pineapple juice
- 1/2 oz raspberry liqueur
- 1/2 oz Grenadine
- 1 slice pineapple
- 1 slice banana
- 1 slice lime
- 1 cup ice
Instructions
- Add ice to a shaker cup
- Add all ingredients to the shaker cup.
- Shake until well mixed and cold.
- Strain into an ice-filled collins glass
- Make a skewer of the pineapple, banana, and lime. Place the skewer on top of the glass.
