The steps for this drink are straightforward. Take a chilled cocktail glass and rinse the inside with the absinthe (to get the flavor on the glass). Add ice to the cocktail shaker ad then add the gin, Lillet Blanc, Cointreau, and lemon juice. Shake until well mixed and cold. Add fresh ice to the cocktail glass, and strain the mixed cocktail into it!

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 oz. London Dry Gin
  • 1 1/2 oz. Lillet blanc
  • 1 1/2 oz. Cointreau orange liqueur
  • 1 1/2 oz. lemon juice
  • 3/4 oz. Absinthe For Rinse
  • 1 cup ice

Instructions

  • Rinse the inside of a chilled 8 oz. cocktail glass with absinthe.
  • Discard the excess and set the glass aside.
  • Add the ice to a cocktail shaker.
  • Add the gin, Lillet Blanc, Cointreau, and lemon juice to the shaker.
  • Shake until well mixed and cold.
  • Add fresh ice to the prepared cocktail glass.
  • Strain into the prepared cocktail glass.
